It has been a very busy period for Safety Technology the last three months have seen us add new courses to our training list, team up with a new partner, join a Government initiative, attend international exhibitions, construct a new training tower and much more.
NEW TRAINING TOWER
Safety Technology are pleased to announce that their new training tower is now up and running and is proving itself to be a huge success.
This tower is the first of its kind in the UK having been built to meet the new specifications of RenewableUK. The tower features evacuation hatchets at the top of the structure to simulate real-life nacelle rescues and emergency exits.
The new tower now allows us to offer an extensive list of training courses from our South Wales based facility.
CYMRU VS CALIFORNIA
Safety Technology's Sales Director Bob Dickens and Training and Business Development Manager Ben Williams visited sunny California at the end of May to attend AWEA's Wind Power 2011 Conference.
They were also able to tie in a trip to our training partners GRCC in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
On the other side of the Atlantic Ocean in a slightly cooler climate our General Manager Operations and International Marketer were exhibiting at the RenewableUK Cymru Exhibition and Conference.
The event was a good opportunity to promote, alongside training partners Coleg Gwent, our new 5 day course.
