Descent

AxelAxel

FAuto locking single rope descender and belay device. The Axel is a ‘stop-go-stop’ descender, which help to prevent user error during descents or lowering. If the user over extends the release handle it locks to prevent further movement (motion can be restored by pushing the release handle back towards the start position). The Axel can release rope one handed under a partial load by opening the cam with the thumb, however the action will not prevent the cam from engaging if a fall occurs.
