This RenewableUK approved Work at Height training aims to ensure safe working at heights, specifically targeting those working in and around turbines.
On successful completion of the course candidates will be awarded a RenewableUK approved Work at Height and Rescue certificate valid for 2 year.

TOPICS COVERED: Typical accidents relevant to work at heights, Legislation to work at height activities in/on wind turbines, Associated hazards, Heirarchy of control of hazards, Conducting a work at height risk assessment, Safe working procedures, Types of ladders and associated fall protection systems in/on turbines, Principles of operation of fall protection systems and equipment, Basic rescue principles and techniques, Specific rescue techniques, Safe working procedures, Selection, inspection and use of appropriate PPE, Ascending/descendong vertical ladders and use of fall arrest equipment, Work restraint and positioning in/on turbines
